DJ Yoda’s How to Cut and Paste: The Thirties Edition (2009)
This time DJ Yoda mines through the 1930′s to find the funkiest nuggets like only he can.
Following hot on the heels of his barnstorming ‘Country & Western Edition’, the fifth instalment in the series delves deep into the past, to the advent of Swing for ‘The Thirties Edition’.
The decade that gave the world the first LP, the first ‘All-Talking All-Colour’ wide-screen movie and the Zoot suit, the 1930s was a hotbed of musical creativity that DJ Yoda has mined with his trademark ear for a funky beat turning up some surprising musical treats.

DJ Yoda’s How to Cut and Paste: The Country and Western Edition (2009)
Distilling the most potent musical moonshine, Yoda blows the barn doors off with his deft trickery taking you on a wild hayride into the heart of both types of music; Country AND Western and their stylistic dalliances with Hip-Hop.
From John Denver’s supercharged ‘Thank God I’m A Country Boy’ slipping into Dolly Parton’s ‘9 to 5’ DJ Yoda mixes up beats, banjos and Johnny Cash in what is one of his most startling mix yet.

80′s Hip Hop mixed with 80′s pop? Yeah I haven’t heard that many mixes like that before. Usually it’s all 80′s Hip Hop or 80′s pop but hardly both combined together in one mix.
This is the third mix of DJ Yoda’s hot and wild “Cut & Paste” mixes.
